<br />GENERAL PROGRAM Activities identified in the PLAN which provide a benefit to the NPDES co- <br /> permittees and which are undertaken jointly with financial support from all <br /> of the NPDES co-permittees. <br />SPECIFIC PROGRAM Activities identified in the PLAN which provide a benefit to each NPDES co- <br /> permittee and which are undertaken separately by each co-permittee. <br />BMP Best Management Practice <br />REGIONAL BOARD San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />SWPPP Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br />C. SCOPE OF WORK <br />1. The COUNTY shall perform the activities specified in Exhibit A. <br />2. The term of this Agreement shall be December 1, 1995 through November 30, 1997. This Agreement <br />may be extended by motion of the parties' respective legislative bodies for a period not to exceed two (2) <br />years and evidenced by written agreement. <br />D. CONFORMITY WITH LAW AND SAFETY <br />1. COUNTY shall observe and comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, codes and regulations of <br />governmental agencies, including federal, state, municipal, and local governing bodies, having jurisdiction over <br />the scope of work or any part hereof, including all provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of <br />1979 and all amendments thereto, and all applicable federal, state, municipal and local safety regulations. <br />All services performed by COUNTY must be in accordance with these laws, ordinances, codes, and <br />regulations. <br />2. If a death, serious personal injury or substantial property damage occurs in connection with the <br />performance of this contract, COUNTY shall notify the CITY'S Risk Manager by telephone within 24 hours <br />of the incident. COUNTY shall submit to CITY a written report within 3 working days of the incident, in such <br />form as may be required by CITY of all accidents which occur in connection with this agreement. <br />E. CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />No officer, member, or employee of CITY and no member of their governing bodies shall have any pecuniary <br />interest, direct or indirect, in this Agreement. No officer, member, or employee of COUNTY shall serve on <br />a CITY board, committee or hold any such position which either by rule, practice or action nominates, <br />recommends, or supervises COUNTY's operations. <br /> 2 <br />- - "-" --...-.. r- <br />
