<br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task Numbers 1 through 3 in this Agreement refer to the Task Numbers from the PLAN, Section 4.0 "Control <br />of Pollutants in Storm Water From Commercial and Industrial Businesses". <br />Task 1 - Participate in Inspection and Outreach Support Activities <br />COUNTY will participate in the inspection training provided by the General Program and/or provide adequate <br />training themselves. <br />Task 2 - Conduct Inspections and Outreach Activities <br />Subtask 2.1. Prepare priority lists. <br />COUNTY will prioritize the facilities to be inspected using its existing database as well as other lists provided <br />by CITY based upon whether a facility has filed a Hazardous Materials Business Plan or is engaged in the <br />retail sale of food. <br />Subtask 2.2. Support subcommittee and develop/adopt BMP guidance. <br />COUNTY will actively participate in the Commercial & Industrial Business Inspection Subcommittee of <br />STOPPP, as well as in other essential committees established to assure uniformity in inspections, reporting <br />formats and other tasks related to the work under this agreement. <br />Subtask 2.3. Evaluate the feasible methods of maintaining inspection information. <br />COUNTY will actively participate in the Commercial & Industrial Business Inspection Subcommittee of <br />STOPPP, as well as in other essential committees established to assure uniformity in inspections, reporting <br />formats and other tasks related to the work under this agreement. <br />Subtask 2.4. Implement agreed upon methods. <br />COUNTY will provide information on inspections, outreach activities, activities to follow up inspections, and <br />enforcement activities as related to the work under this agreement. <br />Subtask 2.5. Identify and develop agreements. <br />COUNTY will actively participate in the Commercial & Industrial Business BMPs Subcommittee of STOPPP, <br />to reach agreement on the method and manner of coordination with Regional Board staff on inspections and <br />resource sharing related to the work under this agreement. <br /> 6 <br />- - ,-.- .,..--..-----. -¡-- .-. <br />
