<br />Subtask 2.6. Conduct inspections, outreach, follow up and enforcement. <br />COUNTY will perform the inspections under this agreement in accordance with the inspection guidelines <br />developed by the GENERAL PROGRAM. <br />COUNTY shall meet the requirement of the Regional Board that 100% of the commercial and industrial <br />businesses in CITY be inspected by June 1997. <br />COUNTY will conduct these inspections during COUNTY's routine inspections such that the amount of time <br />each business will be contacted will be kept to a minimum. The primary message during the initial phase of <br />implementing the commercial and industrial component will be the following: 1) to educate workers and <br />operators of their need to implement good housekeeping and other BMPs; 2) to track the implementation <br />of BMPs; 3) and to inform owners and operators of the requirements to eliminate illicit discharges from their <br />facilities. <br />COUNTY will evaluate SWPPP's as required under any agreement with the Regional Board and advise those <br />facilities of any needed modifications to those plans. If no SWPPP is on file but is needed, COUNTY will <br />advise the facility operator of the need for a SWPPP. <br />Task 3. Reportinq <br />COUNTY shall provide inspection reports to CITY on a quarterly basis. <br />7 <br />- - ···-"-·'T- -" <br />
