map approved subsequent to the original effective <br />date of this ordinance provide for a greater front yard <br />than that required in this ordinance, the required front <br />yard shall be as shown by the setback lines on said map <br />notwithstanding any provision in this ordinance to the <br />contrary." <br />SECTION 9. Section 32.7 of the above mentioned Ordinance No. 1130 <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 32.7 Side Yard Modifications. The following <br />exceptions and modifications shall apply to any side yard <br />requirements otherwise established by this ordinance: <br />"(a) Side yards may vary in width where the side <br />wall of a building is not parallel with the <br />side lot line or is broken or otherwise <br />irregular. In such case the average width <br />of the side yard where adjacent to the build- <br />ing shall be not less than the otherwise <br />required minimum side yard width; provided, <br />that such side yard shall not be narrower at <br />any point than four-fifths the otherwise <br />required minimum side yard width or narrower <br />than four feet in any event. <br />"(b) Whenever building setback lines shown on a <br />final recorded subdivision map approved sub- <br />sequent to the original effective date of <br />this ordinance provide for a greater side <br />yard on the street side of a corner'lot than <br />that required in this ordinance, then said <br />side yard shall be as shown by the setback <br />lines on said map notwithstanding any pro- <br />visions in this ordinance to the contrary." <br />SECTION 10. Section 41.3 of the above mentioned Ordinance No. 1130 <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 41.3. Hearing on Resolution. (a) Upon <br />adoption of a resolution of intention by the Council, <br />the City Clerk shall transmit a copy of the resolution to <br />the Planning Department and the Commission shall set a <br />public hearing thereon within 45 days. <br />-3- <br />
