Work Tasks <br />Task 1: Draft Analysis — The following subtasks will be conducted. <br />a. Define critical stage construction and traffic handling layouts and study traffic <br />volumes. <br />a. Translate intersection volumes into refined Synchro networks for each <br />stage. The analysis network will include the following intersections. <br />i. Blomquist Street/Seaport Boulevard <br />ii. 101 NB Ramps/Woodside Road* <br />iii. 101 SB Ramps/Woodside Road* <br />iv. Veterans Boulevard/Woodside Road <br />v. Broadway/Woodside Road <br />vi. Bay Road/Woodside Road <br />vii. Veterans Boulevard/Chestnut Street <br />viii. Broadway/Chestnut Street <br />*New Intersections <br />b. Refine previously derived source volumes for lane closure analysis to reflect <br />current stage construction and traffic handling layouts. <br />b. Analyze intersections along Woodside Road/Seaport Boulevard from Bay Road to <br />Blomquist Street with modified geometry for each stage. Summarize intersection <br />level of service, queue and travel time for existing and modified lane geometry. <br />Define feasible mitigations for critical movements. <br />c. Analyze lane closure requirements and document findings. <br />d. Prepare draft memorandum and distribute to Caltrans and City for review. <br />e. Meet with Caltrans and City to discuss findings and determine feasible mitigations <br />to test. <br />Task 2: Revised Analysis - The following subtasks will be conducted. <br />a. Define and test feasible mitigations identified in Task 1 using the measures of <br />effectiveness listed in Task 1a through Task 1c. <br />b. Prepare draft memorandum and distribute to Caltrans and City for review. <br />c. Meet with Caltrans and City to discuss findings and define necessary analysis <br />refinements to complete the study. <br />Task 3: Final Analysis and Report - The following subtasks will be conducted. <br />REV: 02-05-20 PR <br />ATN/AGR.Amend.
