• AECOM will review Caltrans' Standard Specifications dated 2015 or latest edition, and Caltrans' Standard Special Provisions (SSP) applicable thereto. • For all work items necessary for construction of the Project, AECOM will assemble data and prepare drafts of (1) necessary edits to the SSP, and (2) modifications to the SSP or additional nonstandard specifications (NSSP) which may be necessary. Caltrans will prepare the "boiler plate" special provisions. • AECOM will submit and work with Caltrans to gain approval of nonstandard special provisions, if any. • Upon completion of the foregoing activities, AECOM will submit the SSP signature and seal sheet. • AECOM will coordinate specifications with other design consultants to assist design interface activities. SSP will be submitted in MS Word format. Task 3.8 Design Reports AECOM will update and submit the design reports that were not approved previously under Task 2.6. The updates will incorporate all the agreed upon comments from the CITY, Caltrans and other agencies. Task 3.9 Quantities and Cost Estimate AECOM will develop the estimate of Construction Quantities and Cost Estimates. This will include back-up calculations. The estimate will follow the Caltrans format. Task 3.10 Construction Schedule AECOM will prepare a Preliminary Construction Schedule for the Project based on the data developed in Task 3. The schedule will be prepared using Microsoft Project. AECOM will coordinate mitigation, highway and structures construction schedule information to prepare the Project Construction Schedule. Task 3.11 Permits AECOM will draft a required "Application for 401 Water Quality Certification and/or Report of Waste Discharge" for review by the Caltrans Project Development Office. The 65% PS&E submittal will be used in preparing the following submittal. The application will be prepared by AECOM, but Caltrans must ultimately sign and submit it because the State owns and operates their right-of-way. Caltrans will officially transmit the application to the appropriate agency. Work in non -State parcels must involve the local agency. Unless otherwise noted, AECOM deliverables for this task include one draft and one final of the Water Quality Certification application, with two hard copies and one electronic copy per submittal.
