EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The scope of work for Amendment No. 2 is described below by service component. <br />(1) Design of Sanitary Sewer and Water Relocations <br />The scope of work for (1) Design of Sanitary Sewer and Water Relocations is described below. <br />Scope of Work <br />CONSULTANT will complete the additional services described below, which are necessary to <br />develop and incorporate construction documents for utility relocation design and protection into <br />the PS&E being developed by CONSULTANT as part of the PS&E and R/W Support Phase of <br />the 101/84 (Woodside Road) Interchange Improvement Project (Project). <br />Design of Sanitary Sewer and Water Utilities Relocation and Protection <br />The Project requires improvements, involving relocations, improvements and protection, to <br />certain utilities listed below. <br />• Five (5) CITY water facilities: <br />o Relocate 400 feet of 10 -inch water and 16 -inch casing on Broadway <br />o Relocate one 10 -inch fire hydrant and appurtenances on Bay Street <br />o Relocate 380 feet of 10 -inch water on Veterans Boulevard <br />o Relocate 500 feet of 12 -inch water and 24 -inch casing on Veterans Boulevard <br />o Relocate 400 feet of two-inch water on Veterans Boulevard <br />• One (1) CITY sanitary sewer facility: <br />o Relocate 430 feet of 18 -inch VCP sewer and casing on Veterans Boulevard <br />• Three (3) Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District (FOSMD) sanitary sewer facilities, <br />which are managed by the County of San Mateo (COUNTY): <br />o Relocate 980 feet of 30 -inch sewer and 36 -inch casing on Veterans <br />Boulevard <br />o Extend 120 feet of 48 -inch casing on 30 -inch sewer on Seaport/Woodside <br />Road <br />o Relocate 550 feet of 12 -inch sewer and casing across US101 at Charter <br />Street <br />• One (1) Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) sanitary sewer facility: <br />o Protect 500 feet of 33 -inch sewer force main on East Bayshore Road <br />These facilities are listed in detail in the Utility Conflict Matrix Table developed for the utility <br />coordination task. Sanitary sewer and water design will include the following general efforts. <br />• Technical meetings to discuss details of the design of these facilities <br />• Coordination of the design with the utility owners <br />• Field surveys and potholing of existing facilities <br />• Coordination with other functional groups (Geotech, structures, design) <br />• 65% level PS&E package for submittal to utility owners <br />o Prepare Non -Standard Special Provisions (NSSPs) for Section 77 Local <br />Infrastructure <br />ATTY/AGR/2019/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.2—AECOM 101/84 PS&E <br />REV: 07-03-19 DZ <br />Page 3 of 13 <br />
