Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br /> insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, Boards, <br /> Commissions, Officers, Employees, and Agents as insureds, or additional <br /> insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death to <br /> any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the <br /> activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have <br /> arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act of Permittee in <br /> connection therewith, in the amounts of $500,000 for each person and <br /> $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for <br /> damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of the use <br /> thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage <br /> in a form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by the Permittee to the <br /> City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. <br />8. Damage to Public Property: The Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br /> costs for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the <br /> designated route, caused by or arising out of conducting of the event <br /> permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to act, of persons <br /> participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon <br /> public property, including the public right-of-way in connection with said <br /> event shall be removed immediately following said event. <br />9. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br /> applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br /> said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in <br /> addition to all other permits which are or may be required for conducting the <br /> event, or any associated activity. <br />10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br /> save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, Officers, Boards, <br /> Commissions, Employees, and Agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br /> claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, <br /> resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of <br /> Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event, <br /> or any activities herein permitted. <br /> ..,- - <br />
