Final design will be completed in March 2018. Construction is tentatively planned to <br />begin in the summer of 2018. The project would take approximately 18 months to build <br />with substantial completion by December 2019. Facility start up and operational testing <br />will follow for the next six to 12 months to ensure proper and safe functionality. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve the proposed Amendment No. 1 with IEC, Inc. to <br />complete the project and provide alternate direction. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this project were appropriated as Water Fund Capital Projects – California <br />Tank, Pump Station, and Generator.
