BID SUBMITTAL DEADLINE AND LOCATION <br /> <br />Bids are due on or before Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 3:30pm PST. Bidder shall hand <br />deliver or mail 1 copy of its bid in a sealed envelope to: <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />Sealed bids must bear the Bidder’s name and address, and be clearly marked “SEALED BID <br />FOR TRUCKING AND HAULING SERVICES DUE 3:30 P.M. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 2017.” <br /> <br />Late bids will not be considered. <br /> <br />D. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS <br /> <br />Any Bidder may withdraw his or her bid by written request, addressed to the City contact <br />specified in Section XV, at any time prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION VI. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide trucking and hauling services on an as-needed basis. Contractor will furnish all <br />labor, materials, and equipment necessary to pick up or deliver directed materials to specified <br />locations. Examples of specified locations are the Municipal Service Center (MSC), active job site, or <br />proper disposal site. In addition, Contractor will respond to emergency work. <br /> <br />The materials supplied to the City shall comply with the City of Redwood City Engineering Standards <br />(http://www.redwoodcity.org/departments/community-development-department/engineering- <br />transportation/engineering/engineering-standards).
