Materials shall be delivered in usable <br />condition. The material picked up shall be the type and amount of material designated by the City for <br />the particular job in progress. <br /> <br />Delivery tags for all materials picked up and/or delivered, as well as record tags or time sheets for the <br />work performed, shall be provided to the City on the day the pick up or delivery was performed. <br /> <br />Vehicles entering the MSC property shall follow all posted speed limits, directions of travel, correct <br />entrance and exit use, and parking and loading zones. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall dispose of all materials in accordance with all State, Federal, and local laws. <br /> <br />A. Emergency Response <br /> <br />Most work will be scheduled with a reasonable advisement time to the Contractor (one or two <br />days). However, when deemed necessary by the City, the Contractor will respond to emergency <br />work. <br /> <br />If City contacts Contractor for emergency work, Contractor will respond to the work site within <br />three (3) hours of being notified by the City. Upon arrival at the location of the emergency, the <br />Contractor will proceed at the direction of the City. <br /> <br />Contractor must be available to respond to any emergency work twenty-four (24) hours a day, <br />seven (7) days per week (including holidays), on a “24/7” basis. The Contractor will maintain a <br />single, local telephone contact number where an on-call representative can be reached at all times <br />(24/7). The telephone number will be made available to all persons designated by the City. <br /> <br />Compensation for emergency response will be paid on a time basis in accordance with the quoted <br />costs in the submitted bid. <br /> <br />B. Term <br /> <br />The term shall be for a one (1) year period from the date the effective date of the contract. The <br />contract may be renewed for up to three (3) consecutive, one (1) year increments after the initial <br />contract period, at the discretion and approval of the City.
