<br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />FY 2016-17 TRUCKING AND HAULING SERVICES RFP 6 OF 20 <br /> <br />Contractor will submit monthly invoices to: Public Works Services Department, Attn: Dennis Bosch, <br />1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. A sample invoice will be included in the submitted bid. <br /> <br />D. Payment <br /> <br />If a contract is awarded, the method of payment to the Successful Bidder shall be on an hourly basis <br />with a maximum “not to exceed” fee as set by the Successful Bidder in the bid or as negotiated <br />between the Successful Bidder and the City. Payment will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt <br />of an accurate invoice. Copies of all backup documentation, such as but not limited to hauling and <br />disposal slips, will be attached to the sent invoice. Payment will be made no more frequently than <br />monthly. <br /> <br />E. Redwood City Business License <br /> <br />The Successful Bidder must either possess a current, valid Redwood City business license or have <br />submitted a Redwood City business license application and fee at the time of contract award. <br />Business license information (application, ordinance, fees) can be found by navigating to the City <br />of Redwood City homepage (www.redwoodcity.org) and selecting “Business,” “Starting a <br />Business,” “Business Licensing.” <br /> <br />F. Bid Cost <br /> <br />The Contractor must complete, sign and submit Attachment A – Bid Pricing Form with Contractor’s <br />bid. All pricing must be inclusive, and include all labor, material, and equipment necessary for all <br />tasks listed in this Scope of Services. Provision of this information assists the City in determining <br />whether the Bidder understands the project, whether the costs are fair and reasonable in light of <br />the services to be provided, and provides City staff with tools to negotiate the final cost. <br /> <br />The Contractor acknowledges that by submitting a bid, the Contractor’s proposed pricing is bound <br />for 90 days after the Bid Submittal Deadline. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION VII. City’s Standard Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />The terms and conditions set forth in Attachment D - Sample General Services Agreement will apply <br />to any contract resulting from this NIB. <br /> <br />B.
