The need to display at the library the information materials and models was <br /> mentioned. <br /> <br /> Public Comment: <br /> <br /> John Dempsey expressed surprise that the Housing Element would not be included and desire <br /> for human services element, circulation and disaster shelter. <br /> <br /> Peggy Tweedie thought Housing and Human Concerns Committee input expressed surprise at <br /> the Housing Element not being discussed. She felt the HHCC should have involvement <br /> working with the Planning Commission on this subject. <br /> <br /> Mr. Murphy requested the public be informed with reports and expressed concern with the <br /> speed of the presentation. He also was concerned about the slight discussion around open space. <br /> <br /> Clem Molony felt the circulation element of the plan is critical. He was pleased to hear about <br /> researching data of a regional nature and would recommend utilizing the Silicon Valley <br /> publications. <br /> <br /> Council Members and Planning Commissioners began discussion of prioritizing areas. A <br /> preliminary prioritization ranking was begun, but it was determined a new list would be sent <br /> out to all Council and Planning Commission Members for clearer, more accurate ranking. <br /> <br /> Consensus for a task force consisting of Council Members Hartnett and Ira, to include a Planning <br /> Commissioner and to discuss proposals for downtown with staff in conjunction with the General Plan <br /> Update process. <br /> <br /> 4.
