<br />9.3 All employees assigned to twenty-four (24) hour duty shifts shall be entitled to <br /> annual vacation leave as follows: <br /> Upon completion of the initial six (6) month period of employment with the <br /> City, employees shall be credited with two and one-half (2-1/2) shifts (sixty (60) <br /> hours) of vacation leave. Thereafter, the first through the fifth full year of <br /> service, five (5) shifts (one hundred twenty (120) hours); the sixth through the <br /> fourteenth full year of service, eight (8) shifts (one hundred ninety-two (192) <br /> hours); the fifteenth and subsequent full years of service, ten (10) shifts (two <br /> hundred and forty (240) hours). <br />9.4 Effective January 1,2000, all employees, other than those regularly assigned to <br /> twenty-four (24) hour duty shifts, shall be entitled to annual vacation leave as <br /> follows: <br /> Employees shall accrue vacation at a rate (3.077) hours per pay period) that <br /> yields eighty (80) hours of vacation at the end of each year of service from the <br /> first year through the fourth year. After completion of the fourth year of service, <br /> employees shall accrue vacation at a rate (4.615 hours per pay period) that yields <br /> one hundred twenty (120) hours of vacation at the end of each year through the <br /> ninth year of service. After completion ofthe ninth year of service, employees <br /> shall accrue vacation at a rate (6.154 hours per pay period) that yields one <br /> hundred sixty (160) hours of vacation per year through the fourteenth year of <br /> service. After completion ofthe fourteenth year of service, employees shall <br /> accrue vacation at a rate (6.923 hours per pay period) that yields one hundred <br /> eighty (180) hours of vacation per year through the nineteenth year of service. <br /> After completion of the nineteenth year of service, employees shall accrue <br /> vacation at a rate (7.692 hours per pay period) that yields two hundred (200) <br /> hours of vacation per year. <br />9.5 Effective January 1,2000, all employees assigned to twenty-four (24) hour duty <br /> shifts shall be entitled to annual vacation leave as follows: <br /> Employees shall accrue vacation at a rate (4.615 hours per pay period) that <br /> yields one hundred twenty (120) hours of vacation at the end of each year of <br /> service from the first year through the fourth year of service.
