<br /> A probationary employee shall read and discuss hislher monthly performance <br /> reports with his/her Company Officer before such reports become part of the <br /> employee's employment record. <br /> An employee may be separated from City service at any time during the <br /> probationary period without right of appeal or hearing as specified in Section <br /> 14.3 ofthis MOU. <br />11.2 Promotional Probation <br /> All promotional appointments shall be tentative and subject to a probationary <br /> period of six (6) months of service from the date of appointment. During the <br /> probationary period, an employee may be rejected at any time by the City <br /> Manager upon recommendation ofthe Fire Chief. Any regular employee <br /> rejected during the probationary period following a promotional appointment <br /> shall be reinstated to the position from which he/she was promoted, unless <br /> conditions warrant his/her dismissal. <br /> Upon satisfactory completion of such probationary period, the employee shall be <br /> appointed to a regular position in that classification. <br /> SECTION 12 - STATION BIDDING <br />The bidding procedure presently in effect shall continue during the term of this MOU <br />unless the parties mutually agree to modify the procedure. <br /> SECTION 13 - PROMOTION <br />13.1 Examination <br /> In the event the City desires to fill a vacancy by promotion, the Human <br /> Resources Director shall prepare and administer an examination for those <br /> employees holding similar positions in lower classes. <br />13.2 Eligible List <br /> The names ofthe successful candidates shall be recorded in the order of their <br /> standing in the examination on an eligible list. <br /> 23 <br />
