<br /> Section 22751, et seq.) pursuant specifically to Government Code <br /> Sections 22825 and 22850. <br />19.1.2 For the period January 1, 1998 through December 31,2000, the <br /> City's maximum contribution for each active employee for a Health <br /> Benefit Plan (as referenced in Government Code 22825) shall not <br /> exceed sixteen dollars ($16.00) per month. <br />19.1.3 The City shall establish in accordance with Section 125 ofthe IRS <br /> Code a Cafeteria Plan establishing the following individual accounts <br /> for each active employee: <br /> A. P.E.R.S. Medical Premiums <br /> B. Dependent Care <br /> C. Health Care Reimbursement <br />19.1.4 For the period January 1, 1998 through December 31,2000, the <br /> City's maximum monthly contribution for each active full-time <br /> employee for the aforementioned Cafeteria Plan shall be four <br /> hundred thirty four dollars ($434.00) per month per employee minus <br /> any costs incurred by the City to maintain the PERS Health Benefits <br /> Plan in compliance with Government Code Section 22751, et seq. <br /> Such costs include, but are not limited to, surcharges and/or <br /> administrative fees. The actual maximum monthly contribution per <br /> active employee, once these charges have been deducted, is <br /> estimated to be four hundred twenty four dollars ($424.00.) <br />19.1.5 For employees covered by this MOU, this amount shall be prorated. <br /> (For permanent part-time employees working (20) or more hours per <br /> week covered by this MOU this amount shall be prorated.) <br />19.1.6 For the period January 1, 1998 through December 31,2000, the <br /> City's total maximum combined contribution per full-time eligible <br /> employee for the aforementioned PERS Health Benefit Plan (see <br /> Section 19.1.2 above) and Cafeteria Plan (see Section 19.1.3 above) <br /> shall not exceed four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00) per month <br /> except as follows: if premiums increase in the PERS plan to which <br /> City employees subscribe during 1998, 1999, and 2000, the City will <br /> increase the City's total maximum combined contribution cap <br /> ($450.00) for employees by fifty percent (50%) weighted average <br /> increase of such premiums; or, if the City's total maximum <br /> combined contribution cap is increased pursuant to an agreement <br /> with another City employee organization, the total maximum <br /> combined contribution cap for employees covered under this Section <br /> shall be increased by an identical amount.
