<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 10 day of <br /> -JeKl(~Ý , 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> I corporation of the State of California ("City") and Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo <br /> County, a California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides a partnership between several local school districts, <br /> health and human services organizations, the County of San Mateo, and local community <br /> volunteers who are dedicated to helping young people make healthy life choices; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br /> for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, <br /> 1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Seven Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($7,000); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Seven <br /> Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($7,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year <br /> commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, solely for the purposes described in <br /> paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br /> solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> - <br />
