EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Contractor will perform trucking and hauling services on an as -needed basis for the <br />City, which consists of the following: <br />Normal Work <br />• Contractor shall furnish materials, trucks, and drivers to pick up or deliver <br />directed materials to specified locations. Examples of specified locations would <br />be the Public Works Municipal Service Center (MSC), an active job site, or <br />proper disposal site. <br />• All materials supplied to the City shall comply with City Engineering Standards <br />(http://www. redwoodcity.org/departments/comm un itV-development- <br />department/engineering-transportation/enaineering/engineering-standards). If <br />City Engineering Standards are not available, materials shall comply with <br />applicable State of California standards, such as Caltrans Construction Contract <br />Standards, or other standards as requested by the City. <br />• Contractor shall deliver or pick up materials in a timely manner. Materials shall be <br />delivered in usable condition. The material picked up shall be the type and <br />amount of material designated by the City for the particular job in progress. <br />• Contractor will call the designated City staff member on each trip to the MSC to <br />confirm arrival and departure times. <br />• Delivery tags for all materials picked up and / or delivered, as well as record tags <br />or time sheets for the work performed, shall be provided to the City on the day <br />the delivery or pick up was performed. <br />• Vehicles entering the MSC property shall follow all posted speed limits, directions <br />of travel, correct entrance and exit use, and parking and loading zones. <br />• Contractor shall dispose of all materials in accordance with all Federal, State, <br />and local laws_ <br />Emergency Response <br />• Contractor shall provide emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days per week <br />(including holidays). <br />• Contractor shall maintain a single, local telephone contact number where an on- <br />call representative can be reached at all times (24/7).
