• The Effective Date of Amendment and March 15, 2020 - Aquatic plant <br />nuisance management strategy for the upcoming plant nuisance <br />season <br />• Monthly - Copies of monthly summary pesticide use report submitted to <br />San Mateo County Department of Agriculture for all herbicides / <br />pesticide used. <br />• Monthly - Compilation of daily activity reports, separate activity report <br />for each activity day, each activity (e.g. monitoring / survey, spraying, <br />harvesting, trash/cleanup, etc.), using form provided by City or <br />equivalent. <br />• October 31 - End of season summary, indicating plant growth <br />observations and trends, assessment of control strategies, and <br />recommendations for the coming year. <br />d. Mechanical Harvesting. Following the draft Lagoon Management Plan: <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon, July 2003, as amended, identify needs, set <br />schedules, notify and advise the City on recommended mechanical <br />harvesting. Provide skilled staff, equipment and materials to carry out work <br />safely and pursuant to County, State and Federal laws. <br />e. Chemical Applications. Following the draft Lagoon Management Plan: <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon, July 2003, and any amendments thereof with the <br />exception of the use of the copper -based algaecides EarthTec, AgriTec and <br />Cutrine-Plus, identify needs, set schedules, notify and advise the City of <br />recommended algaecide and herbicide treatments. Quickly process the <br />needed changes to amend the current Aquatic Pesticide Application Plan <br />(APAP) to include Green Clean Liquid 2.0 (only Green Clean Liquid 2.0, as no <br />granular versions will be allowed due to lack of efficacy on filamentous algae) <br />to the approved list of algaecides available for use on Redwood Shores <br />lagoon and have it approved by the State and Regional Water Quality Control <br />Boards. Provide state licensed and 1 or certified skilled staff, equipment and <br />chemicals to carry out work applications safely and pursuant to County, State <br />and Federal laws. Specify name(s) of the registered pesticide applicator(s) <br />that will perform chemical application activities. <br />f. Equipment. Dedicate the following equipment to the project for the term of the <br />Agreement: A minimum of two (2) aquatic harvesters are required to be <br />dedicated for the duration of the project to assist in aquatic weed and algae <br />removal.
