(Less-Than-Significant Impact) <br /> Overview.The Traffic Study prepared for the proposed project was conducted according to the <br /> requirements of the City of Redwood City,the County of San Mateo,and the City/County Association <br /> of Governments of San Mateo County(C/CAG). The C/CAG administers the San Mateo County <br /> Congestions Management Program(CMP). Specifically,the following analysis focuses on trip <br /> generation,distribution and the extent to which project trips would affect traffic operations within the <br /> project area during the AM and PM peak hours. The AM peak hour is defined as the highest hour of <br /> traffic between 7:00 am and 9:00 a.m. while the PM peak hour is the highest hour of traffic between <br /> 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. These time periods are analyzed as they represent the times when traffic on <br /> the adjacent streets peaks and are generally representative of the peak commute hour conditions.109 A <br /> total of nine study intersections within the vicinity of the project site that could be affected by project— <br /> related <br /> rojectrelated traffic were chosen for analysis. The study intersections were selected to include locations <br /> where the proposed project is expected to generate ten or more peak hour trips per lane.
