Ted Hannig stated he was following up on the City Council's unanimous support of Marina Shores and the editorial opinion in the San Mateo Times that also was in support of the project as a means of smart growth and smart development. He stated his point is to clarify misinformation of what might occur if Measure Q does not pass. He stated that the most likely outcome of a "no vote" is that there will be "big box" development on that property and the consequence would be that the City would not have the benefits such as the negotiated recycled pipeline among other items negotiated for and a part of the Marina Shores project. He stated that his belief is that we would lose out on the low and moderate income housing, the bridge over Blomquist and traffic system improvements. 5.1 Section — Motions A.
