ADOPT RESOLUTION 14613 AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION <br />FOR FEDERAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDING FOR <br />RESURFACING WHIPPLE AVENUE FROM VETERANS BOULEVARD TO EL <br />CAMINO REAL, INDUSTRIAL WAY FROM WHIPPLE AVENUE TO THE CITY <br />LIMIT, AND ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS FROM EATON AVENUE TO DE ANZA <br />AVENUE, AND COMMITTING THE NECESSARY NON - FEDERAL MATCH FOR <br />THE PROJECT(S) AND STATING THE ASSURANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT <br />D. Resolutions authorizing application for a California Cultural and Historic <br />Endowment (CCHE) grant in the amount of $2,076,799 and authorizing, if <br />required, matching Redevelopment Agency funds for facade reconstruction of <br />the historic San Mateo County Courthouse — City Council and <br />Redevelopment Agency (404) <br />Recommendations: <br />1. That the City Council adopt a resolution which authorizes the City <br />Manager's application for a California Cultural and Historic Endowment grant <br />in the amount of $2,076,799 to partially fund facade reconstruction of the <br />historic San Mateo County Courthouse. This resolution requests the <br />Redwood City Redevelopment Agency contribute, if necessary, matching <br />funds and designates the City Manager or agent as the responsible party for <br />negotiating, executing, accepting, and appropriating all CCHE grant related <br />items. <br />RESOLUTION 14614 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS /HER DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT AN <br />APPLICATION FOR A CALIFORNIA CULTURAL AND HISTORIC ENDOWMENT <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,076,799 FOR PARTIAL FUNDING OF FACADE <br />RESTORATION OF THE HISTORIC SAN MATEO COUNTY COURTHOUSE; <br />REQUESTING THAT, IF REQUIRED, THE REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY CONTRIBUTE MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE FACADE RESTORATION <br />PROJECT AND APPOINTING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS /HER DESIGNEE AS <br />AGENT TO CONDUCT ALL NEGOTIATIONS, TO EXECUTE ALL GRANT - <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS AND TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE ANY GRANT <br />FUNDS RECEIVED <br />2.
