6 . 6 Unforeseeable Emergencies : In the event of an <br /> Unforeseeable Emergency prior to or after the commencement of <br /> distributions, a Participant (or Beneficiary after the death of <br /> the Participant) may apply to receive that part of the value of <br /> the Participant ' s Account that is reasonably needed to satisfy <br /> the emergency need, including any income tax resulting from the <br /> distribution. Payment will not be made to the extent that the <br /> financial hardship may be satisfied through cessation of <br /> Deferrals, insurance or other reimbursement, or a liquidation of <br /> other assets to the extent such liquidation would not itself <br /> cause severe financial hardship. <br /> 6 . 7 Death Benefits : Upon the Participant ' s death, the <br /> Participant ' s remaining Account balance shall be payable to the <br /> Beneficiary commencing on the sixty-first (61st) day after the <br /> date of the Participant ' s death, unless, within sixty (60) days <br /> of the Participant ' s death, the Beneficiary irrevocably elects a <br /> deferred commencement date that is consistent with the limita- <br /> tions set forth below. Prior to the Beneficiary' s commencement <br /> date, the Beneficiary may irrevocably elect to receive the <br /> Participant ' s remaining Account balance under any optional <br /> distribution form described in Section 6 . 2 , provided that the <br /> elected distribution form satisfies the limitations set forth <br /> below. If a Beneficiary fails to make a timely election of an <br /> optional distribution form, death benefits shall be paid under <br /> the Default Distribution Option or over such shorter period as <br /> may be required under the limitations set forth below. <br /> (a) If the Participant dies prior to the Participant ' s <br /> Required Beginning Date and the Beneficiary is the <br /> Participant ' s surviving spouse, the commencement <br /> date shall be no later than the last day of the <br /> Year in which the Participant would have attained <br /> age 70M (or, if later, the Year immediately <br />
