Item No. 2 (continued) <br />Housing Coordinator Debbi Jones - Thomas presented a comprehensive report <br />accompanied by slides and charts to demonstrate the accomplishments of <br />Redwood City in providing innovative solutions to the problems of the <br />homeless, families in need, mentally retarded and day care programs. <br />Redwood City has taken the lead in the use of Community Development Block <br />Grants and has set the standards for the rest of the nation to follow. <br />Council thanked staff for their successful efforts and asked that Mrs. <br />Jones - Thomas' report be presented to Congressman Lantos. <br />MEMO 4/11/88 <br />Title read.
