Time of Adjournment of City Council meeting (Council <br />request 4/25/88) ( 301 -08) <br />Continued from 4/25/88 to discuss Motion by Councilmen Stangel /Murray that it <br />shall be City Council policy that all regular meetings of the City Council <br />shall be adjourned no later than 11:00 p.m., unless extended beyond that time <br />by consent of all Council members present. <br />Councilmembers Buchan and Claire expressed fears future Councils would limit <br />public discussion and stressed need for public debate at Council meetings. <br />M /S: Stangel /LaBerge that it shall be City Council policy that all regular <br />meetings of the City Council shall be adjourned no later than 11:00 p.m., <br />unless extended beyond that time by consent of all Council members present. <br />AYES: Councilmen Bury, LaBerge, Murray, Stangel and Mayor Greenalch <br />NOES: Councilmembers Buchan and Claire <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 88 -67 <br />5a. Counci 1 woman Buchan thanked the Police Department for their superb work last <br />week responding to a disturbance in Mezes Park, and to the Park and <br />Recreation Department for their park lighting policies throughout the city. <br />5b . Councilman Murray thanked Park, Recreation and Community Services Director <br />Peter Griffiths for his expertise on the city tour he gave to members of the <br />Council on April 30th. <br />5c.
