Item No. 6 (continued) <br />Report: Community Development Director 4/20/88 <br />Debbi Jones- Thomas, Housing Coordinator, responded to questions, describing <br />grant processes and Housing and Hunan Concerns Committee actions and <br />obligations. <br />Councilman Murray requested the following revisions to exhibit A of the <br />proposed resolution: Director of Housing and Redevelopment designated as <br />the person who will determine if grievance will be heard by the Housing and <br />Human Concerns Committee; Council is not bound by Housing and Human Concerns <br />Committee recommendations; a translator will be available during <br />participation process at the public hearings of the Housing and Human <br />Concerns Committee. <br />Title read. M /S: Buchan /Claire <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10780 ADOPTING CITIZEN PARICIPATION PLAN (COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT) <br />adopted unanimously, with Exhibit " A " as amended, by roll call vote. <br />Report: Recommendations for Projects to be Funded FY 1988/89 Community <br />Development Block Grant Program, Debbi Jones - Thomas <br />Councilman Stangel suggested the request from Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair <br />Housing be reduced from $23,200 to $17,840 with the difference of $5360 going <br />to the Senior Affairs Commission. <br />Dick Roe, Executive Director of Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, <br />described the reduction in staff and services this cut would cost MCFH. <br />M/S : Stangel /Murray to add amendment to proposed resolution reducing MCFH <br />from $23,200 to $17,480 with $5360 to Senior Affairs Commission. <br />Motion failed to carry on the following rol 1 call vote: <br />AYES: Councilman Stangel <br />NOES: Counci lmembers Buchan, Bury, Claire, LaBerge, Murray and Mayor <br />Greenalch <br />Title read.
