They are very knowledgeable about <br />regulations, capable of meeting PWS sampling needs, and dependable. Based on their <br />competitive pricing and reputation for providing reliable service, staff recommends <br />awarding the two-year contract to Alpha Analytical Laboratories. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />City Council may choose to not approve the proposed agreement with Alpha Analytical <br />Laboratories and direct staff to award the contract in parts or release another NIB for <br />this service. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the enterprise funds for the duration of the agreement. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section <br />15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable physical <br />change in the environment. <br />ROBIN KIM <br />MANAGEMENT ANALYST <br />
