2.1 Traffic Committee (Not on Agenda) <br />There being no objection, Mayor Greenalch ordered that the City Clerk notify <br />the two applicants for appointment to the Traffic Committee that appointment <br />will not be made until after the Council has held the study session on that <br />Committee. <br />CITY MANAGER REPORTS <br />3. Regulation of police response to alarms <br />Report: Police Chief 8/17/88 <br />Art Balsamo, 3555 Highland, suggested that residential alarm systems which <br />are professionally installed and monitored do not usually have false alarms <br />as compared to amateur installations. <br />Deputy Chief Hamilton said that his experience is that even professionally <br />installed bank alarms may have many false alarms. <br />Title read.
