Establishment of City Center Action Committee <br />(301-06) <br />Report: 8/4/88 <br />Councilman Stangel presented the report of the Downtown Committee on the <br />Proposed establishment of a City Center Action Committee. <br />M /S: Stangel /Buchan to establish a City Center Action Committee as described <br />in the report of the Downtown Committee of August 4, 1988; and that the Mayor <br />make the appointments to the Committee which is expected to exist for one <br />year. <br />Nita Spangler, 970 Edgewood Road, said she would like wide participation <br />on the Committee and urged Council to invite citizens to serve, noting <br />particularly those who served on the recent General Plan Committee. <br />CLARIFICATION: Mayor Greenalch stated that it is his understanding that he <br />is to appoint representatives from the various categories listed in the <br />report and that he will let citizens know they can ask to be appointed also. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />------------------------------------------------ - - - - -- MINUTE -ORDER --------- -- 88 -131 <br />------- - - - - -- <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 48 <br />Page No. 162 <br />
