(11/26/01 ) <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br /> L <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this~'~%ay ofd'~l~, 2001, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California (hereinafter referred to as "City") and Redwood City- San Mateo County <br />Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "Chamber"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chamber has requested City to provide moneys during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002 for the maintenance and <br />improvement of the economy of the City of Redwood City by the general promotion and <br />development of local industry and commerce in the City of Redwood City, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that the promotion and development of the <br />industrial and commercial economy of the City of Redwood City is vital to the present <br />and future well-bring of all segments of the City of Redwood City, is in the public <br />interest, and benefits the entire community; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONTRACT AMOUNT. City shall allocate to Chamber the sum of $38,250 <br /> (Thirty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars) for exclusive use by the <br /> Chamber. <br /> <br /> 2. TERM: The term of the agreement is one year, commencing July 1, 2001, <br /> and ending June 30, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br />
