Exhibit "C" , " Exceptions and Clarifications .......- On Broadway - Garage .......- Redwood City, CA November 8, 2004 SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE GARAGE INCLUDES all construction work per the updated drawing log (Exhibit B) with the following exceptions and clarifications: 1. All Change Order Requests previously incorporated into the contract via Change Orders 1, 2, 3 and 4 are included in the scope of work as described in those change documents. 2. Change order requests 20 (Paystation Locations), 38 (Culvert Demolition Delay), 52 (Over Excavation) and 81 (Pilaster Tops per RFl's 101 & 103) are included as described in those Change Request documents. 3. Interior walls will be grey, smooth faced, 8" x 8" x 16" light weight blocks, reinforced and in-filled. A miscellaneous steel connection will be used at the wall to ceiling intersection similar to detail 12/A5.02 of the contract documents, dated 6-1-04. 4. Signage will be per Contract Documents, except for sheets A 10.02, A 10.03, A 10.04 & A 10.05 dated 6-1-04 which have been revised by International Parking Design by hand on 7-8-04. 5. Podium Level Beams will be trowled on smooth finish fireproofing unless not approved by structural engineer. 6. Stair Railing to be per alternate five tube detail as provided by International Parking Design as clarified in RFI #110. 7. Conduit for data lines to lot 2 and City Hall will include two, one inch conduits from the attendant's office to Jefferson Street and to Middlefield Road (4 conduit runs total). These conduits will be run in the slab to five feet outside garage building line. Junction boxes and connections outside the building to be by others. 8. Cameras and video recording equipment will be provided as follows: Camera coverage will be provided at each exit to the garage and at code blue stations. Conduit and junction boxes for future cameras to increase coverage areas will also be provided per previously approved Change Order Request #45. 9. Transformer room configuration will be per Bulletin #1 as issued by International Parking Design, dated 8-30-04 with associated structural drawings from DES Architects + Engineers dated 8-30-04. 10, Furnishing, installation and hook up of parking management equipment is EXCLUDED 11. Fire Hydrant and underground fire water work in the value of $ 44,271 will be done as part of the Streetscape work. 12. Fire Hose Bib Locations are located in garage stair cases and at the base of the vehicle ramps at each level per the request of the fire marshal. 13. Dewatering & Filtration System: System is included per Fugro West Inc. design documents dated July 29, 2004. 14. Cost of operation and maintenance of the groundwater treatment system as detailed in Fugro West Inc.'s October 15, 2004 proposal is EXCLUDED. 15. Document Reproduction Costs: Scope includes reproduction costs of construction documents for General Contractor and Subcontractors anticipated from the date of this document moving forward. Reproduction Costs for any added scope by the City of Redwood City or Developer is EXCLUDED. 16. All exterior signage including "garage full" sign (sign #46 on sign schedule - sheet A 10.02) is EXCLUDED. All structural support and power for exterior sign age is EXCLUDED.
