Sidewalk improvements (only) adjacent to the "On Broadway" project on Middlefield Road between Theatre Way/Winslow Street and Jefferson Avenue. FTB will function as the Prime Consultant throughout the project, providing all project management and information distribution and documentation services for the design and engineering team. FTB will refine the streetscape design concept and insure that design intent is maintained among all work products while working with our subconsultant team. Slooten Consulting will compile, print and distribute all construction document sets, including intermediate sets for review by City Staff and the consultant team and final sets used for bidding purposes. During the construction phase, FTB and each sub consultant firm will be responsible for the review of shop drawings and contractor submittals pertaining to the respective products, drawings, and specifications provided by that firm. TASK DESCRIPTIONS Orientation. The tasks as outlined below are FTB-only tasks; please refer to other subconsultant Scope of Services for details of tasks of related disciplines. The task list provides our recommendations as to how the City can proceed most effectively toward the development of plans and designs to address the problems and opportunities at hand. The tasks are listed in the chronological order under which we would expect to proceed under typical conditions. It is important to note, however, that the unique nature of this project in coordination with the on- going On-Broadway project will require both chronological adjustments as well as task substitutions to refine the effectiveness of the services performed. Once the final task list and the overall approach to the problem are approved by the City, the most basic purpose of this task list will be to provide both a preview of the likely type and order of work to be performed as well as a contractual basis for a certain number of meetings, drawings, workshops and tasks to be delivered for the corresponding project budget. PHASE I: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT Task 1. Receive updated digital survey and project base files from Slooten Consulting A. Receive/review digital files and configuration settings, distribute to team B.
