Matters of Council Interest (continued) <br />li. Councilman Stangel reported on the subcommittee meeting of 11/3/88 studying <br />Kainos desire to buy TEWCI building at 2555 Middlefield Road. The sub- <br />committee recommends 1) the City Manager draft a letter authorizing TEWCI to <br />delay retaining a broker for the purpose of the sale; and 2) request <br />reappraisal and research availability of CDBG funds. <br />MEMO 11 / 8/ 88 <br />lj. Vice Mayor LaBerge reported on the 2nd Annual Waste Management conference she <br />attended with Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths, <br />and urged Redwood City to put more emphasis on reducing litter and waste, and <br />encourage residents to use the curbside recycling program scheduled to start <br />early next year. <br />lk. Report re John Rosselli Memorial Garden <br />Fernando Vega, 321 Spring Street, thanked the Council for their support of <br />the John Rosselli Memorial Garden.
