EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />DEFINITIONS <br />CITY City of Redwood City <br />COUNTY San Mateo County Department of Health Services, Environmental <br />Health Services Division <br />PLAN San Mateo County Stormwater Management Plan <br />STOPPP San Mateo Countywide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program <br />GENERAL PROGRAM Activities identified in the PLAN which provide a benefit to the <br />NPDES co -permittees and which are undertaken jointly with financial <br />support from all of the NPDES co -permittees. <br />PERFORMANCE <br />STANDARDS "Performance Standards for Industrial and Commercial Discharge <br />Controls", a part of the PLAN, as described in Exhibit B, attached <br />hereto and incorporated by reference herein. <br />BMP Best Management Practice <br />TASKS <br />COUNTY will assist in the implementation of the Performance Standards specified in the <br />PLAN, Appendix B, for industrial/commercial controls of pollutants in stormwater and to effectively <br />control and eliminate illicit discharge as part of the countywide NPDES permit through the following <br />activities: <br />I. Target inspections <br />1. COUNTY will inspect and provide educational outreach at least once during the five year <br />NPDES permit period to: <br />a. All businesses that impact stormwater quality <br />b. Retail gasoline outlets <br />c. Vehicle service facilities <br />d. Businesses that have Hazardous Materials Business Plans <br />2. COUNTY will inspect and provide educational outreach annually to al businesses that <br />meet one or more of the following criteria: <br />5 <br />
