P.M. <br />40. <br />LO <br />ttee <br />ee <br />0 <br />161L <br />PYiiy <br />Redwood City,September 29,1910...7:30 p.m. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Roll Call. Present 5rustees,Pre sident Geo.A.Merrill,Rob't Brown ,E'.H.Sampson ,Totvn Clerk, <br />Plump. Absent Trustees Beeger,. Hynding. <br />Henry W. walker, attorney in behalf of the Board of School Trust ees. addressed the Board <br />relative to the proposed extension of Phelps Street through the school property,explaining <br />the proper legal procedure and that a nominal sum,$100 .,to cover the expense of transfer, <br />would be acceptable to the school Board. <br />r This met with the approval of the Board in regard to the street. President Merrill <br />stated ,however,that inasmuch as the Town Trustees had under consideration the location of <br />a new Town Hall and the possible desire of the Board to secure additional school property <br />adjacent to the proposed street extension perhaps it would be advisable to withhold imme- <br />diste action until the final determination of -the Board as to suitable location for a Town <br />Hall,for if additional school property were desired,the purchase of the street property <br />and of the Town Hall site could be submitted to the electors at the same proceeding. <br />Trustee Brown,seconded by,Trustee Sampson,moved that Moriarty & Perkins, Contractors, <br />building lift bridge at East Bradford street,be allowed 050.00for installing rive extra <br />plies,from,property line to property line across the end -of East Bradford Street along <br />creek bank. Contractor to furnish labor and materials. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes Trustees Brown, Sampson,Merrill <br />Hynding, <br />Noes Trustees,None. Absent Trustees,Beeger; <br />Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee Sampson.,moved that the Town purchase the necessary <br />lumber for approach 64 feet long on east side of East Bradford Street Bridge; labor and all <br />materials,otber than lumber,to be furnished by Contractors and the sum of $112.00 to be <br />allowed Contractors. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes Trust ees,Brown Sampson,kerrill. Noes,None. Absent Trustees, BeeFer,sampson. <br />Trustee Brown, seconded. by Trustee Sampson moved that the Superintendent of Streets be <br />instructed to lay 6 inch sewer on County, Road from Hopkins Avenue,.to Brewster Avenue. Mo* <br />tion carried. <br />Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee Sampson,moved to adjourn. Motion carried. <br />C/ <br />Town Clerk. <br />
