I Objection to Street Yrork, Assessment District No. 16. gulag I; the undersigned F.W.Glennan am the owner of a parcel of land situated on Main street ng vote; in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,state oP California. I am the owner in fee of said land. Said land is included in assessment district No. 16 and is assessed for the purpose of 'paying the cost of improving. Main street from the.northerly line of the asphalt pavement on said jdain street to the southerly line of the roadway of Holder street.. The material to be used. in the improvement of said Main street ,is to be macadam and, oil accord- sd with in K to the report .of the engineer's now on file with the. Clerk. of the Town of Redwood City., The parcel of land of which I am the owner is described as follows, to -wit: Commencing at a point on the easterly line of Main street distant thereon 118' southerlY from the point of intersection of the easterly line of Main street with the southerly line of Holder streeti; Main thence at right angles easterly 130'; thence at right angles southerly 501;' thence at right ie own- • . angles westerly 130' to the easterly line of Main street; thence at right' angles northerly assess - along the easterly line of Main street 50' to the point of beginning.. I object to having Main street included in said•dis- :adam ' trict for the reason that a macadamized street made with macadam and oil is not a suitable of the • street material nor street construction for said Main street. I. am desirous of having a >110ws , . better and more permanent pavement built on Main street., Therefore I kindly ask the Board south• - of Trustees to exclude Main street from the assessment district now under discussion.
