Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City. at a regular adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 10th day of April, 1911, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of said •resolution 9 Trustees: Beeger,Brown,Hynding,.6ampson7Merr111. Noes.and against the passage of said resolution, Trustees: None. Absent Trustees: None. The foI]owing objections to street work in Assessment District No: 16, were filed with the Clerk. Objection to Street Work,- Assessment District No. 16. I, the undersigned. Antone 'Genochio am the owner of a parcel• of land situated on Main Street in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of California. I am the own- er of said land in fee. Said land is included in assessment district No. 16 and is assess- ed for the purpose of paying the cost of improving Main Street from the northerly line of the asphaltum pavement on said Main Street to the southerly line of the roadway of Holder street. The material to be used in the -improvement of said Main street is to be macadam and oil according to,the report of the engineer's report now on file with the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. The .parcel of land of which I am the owner is described as follows,• to -wit: Commencing at a point on the easterly line of Main street said point being south- erly 26$' from the point of intersection of. the easterly line of Main street with the souhterly line of Holder street; thence at right angles easterly 230' to the westerly line of Walnut street; thence' southerly along the westerly line of Walnut street 125'; thence at right angles 2301 to the easterly line of Main street; thence northerly along the'east- erly line of Main street 125' to the point of beginning. Said parcel is numbered ill in red ink on w Exhibit No. 5 attached to the engineer's report now on file with the Clerk of the Town of:Red.wood City: I object to having Main street included in said assessment district for the reason that a macadamized street made with macadam and then oiled is not a suitable street material nor street construction for said Main street. I am desirous of having built on Bain street a better and more permanent pavement. Therefore I kindly ask the Board of Trustees to exclude Main street from the assessment district now under discussion. The entire street frontage on that portion of Main street included in this assessment district is 80$ feet. Dated.April 6th, 1911.
