<br />"Notice of Sale Of Bonds".
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, in the
<br />Pursuant to a resolution Of the
<br />of California, passed and adopted on the 12th day of June,
<br />GountY of San Mateo, State 1911,
<br />notice is hereby given that the said Board of Trustees will sell, at the office Of said
<br />Board, in the Town of Redwood City, at the hour of & O'clock p.m. on the 26th day Of June,
<br />1911, to the highest bidder,at not less than their par value,for gold coin Of the United
<br />States of Ameriea, Seven bonds of said Town of Redwood City of the denomination of $1000
<br />each, and.one bond of said Town of the denomination Of 667.27;
<br />Each Of said bonds bears interest at the rate of -seven (7) per cent per annum, is
<br />dated July lst, 1911, and runs for a term of ten years from said date.
<br />Said bonds are issued by said Board of Trustees in accordance with, and by the author-
<br />ity of,an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,( Statutes of 1901, pages 34
<br />et seq.) entitled "An Act to provide for local improvements upon. streets, lanes, alleys,
<br />courts, places and sidewalks, and for the construction of sewers within:municipalities,
<br />such Act to be known as 'The Local Improvement Act of 19011"1 which became a law under
<br />Constitutional provision without Governor Ia approval, February 26, 1901, and said bonds
<br />are in the form, and payable in the manner, as required by said Act.
<br />Sealed proposals for the purchase of said bonds will be received by the Board of Trus-
<br />tees of said Town, at the office Of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, County of Son
<br />Mateo, State of California, and may be addressed to and left with the Clerk of said Tdwn
<br />at any time after the first publication of this notice, and until 8 o'clock p.m. on the
<br />26th day of June, 1911.
<br />All proposals shall be marked "Proposal for Local Improvement Bonds".
<br />Said bonds will be sold as a whole, and bidders must bid upon said bonds as a whole.
<br />The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

<br />adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 12th day of June, 1911, by the following vote:

<br />Noes and against the passage of said resolution, Trustees:
<br />None.

<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson, moved that Supervisor McEvoy be granted
<br />the use of street Sweeper at $1.00 per day and he to provide ffilling for broom. Motion
<br />carried.
