<br />The California School of Mechanical Arts, a corporation organized and
<br />existing under the laws of the State of California,and having its principal place of busi-
<br />ness at the City and County Of San Francisco, hereby submits the,following bid for the pur_
<br />chase of the seven (7) bonds of the denomination of $1,000, each, and one bond of the de -
<br />of $6 67.27,referred to in Your Notice of sale of said Bonds of said Town of
<br />nomination =
<br />Redwood City,
<br />dated June 12th, 19111 to -wit.
<br />Said corporation,the said School, will pay for said bonds par and accrued interest,
<br />In told Coin of the United States of America.
<br />This bid, however, is conditioned upon the regularity of all the proceedings under
<br />ract of which is to be prepared by your Toxn.At-

<br />torney and submitted to the undersigned attorney of The California School of Mechaniaal

<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson, moved said bid be accepted. Motion -
<br />carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, presented the following resolution and
<br />moved its adoption:
<br />Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did, on the 12th daY
<br />of June pass and adopt a resolution determining that the Local Improvement Bonds,.in the
<br />sum of $7667.27, being the bonds issued in assessment district No. 15 under and pursuant
<br />to the provisions of the "Local ImproveDient Act of 1901" be sol d on the 26th day of June, -
<br />1911 at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. of said day, and did, in said resolution order and -
<br />direct the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City to give and publish a Notice of the Sale of -
<br />said bonds, said Notice to be published for two issues in the Redwood City Democrat,a -
<br />weekly newspaper, printed and published in said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />Whereas it appears that the Clerk of said Town has duly given and caused to be
<br />Published the said Notice of the sale of said bonds in all respects as in the resolution _
<br />of said Board required and that said Notice of the Sale of Bonds was duly published In said
<br />"Redwood City Democrat",said weekly newspaper on the 15th and 22nd days of June* 1911' and
<br />Whereas this is the time and place fixed in said resolution and Notice for the
<br />sale of said bonds,and said Board having received a bid from The California School of
<br />Mechanical Arts,a corporation offering to,take all of said bonds,and to pay therefor the
<br />sum of par and,accrued interest and which said bid of The California School of Mechanical
<br />Arts,a corporation appearing to said Board.to be the highest and best bid for said bonds,
<br />Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City
