<br />Minutes of Meetings Aug, 16th and 23rd 1909 were read. On'motion Trustee Brown,
<br />seconded by Trustee Rice same be approved as read. Motion carried by the following vote,
<br />Ayes, Trustees Beeger, Brown, Rice, Merrill. Noes, none. Absent,Trustee HYnding.
<br />Petitions.
<br />Petition from all property owners on south aide of Vera Avenue requesting as-
<br />sistance from Board in the matter of width of Avenue,and accepting 30 feet from Hooper
<br />& 00.
<br />Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that petition of property owners on
<br />Vera Avenue be received and filed.,, Motion carried.
<br />Petition of G. J. Ligouri offering to collect and dispose of garbage.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that petition be received and filed.
<br />.Motion carried.
<br />Petition of United, Gas and Electric Oo.requesting permission to erect poles on Walnut
<br />Street•,from Stambaugh street to Holder Street. Trustee Rieg,seconded by Trustee Brown,
<br />•
<br />moved request be granted. Motion carried,
<br />Petition signed by one hundred and fifty citizens and tax payers requesting that a
<br />lift or "Jack—knifeN bridge be built across the creek at East Bradford (0) street to con—
<br />neet with Holder Street. Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved said petition be
<br />received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />Application of George Donnelly, (Tremont House), for a permit for a Class A Liquor
<br />License. On motion of Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee Beeger,applioation was referred
<br />to Oom.on Public Morals. Motion carried.
<br />Town Clerk reports receipt of Oath of Office of Library Trustees,filed on August 24,
<br />1909.
<br />Fire Cam. recommends purchase of 400 feet of 2* inch fire hose,Bear Brand,at 800 per
<br />foot,from Western Belting and Hose Company.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that said bid of Western. Belting and
<br />Hose Company for 400 feet 2* inch hose at 80� per ft,Bear Brand,be accepted. Motion
<br />carried by the following vote;

<br />Noes, None. Absent, Trustee C.J.HYnding.
<br />T$ustee Riee,seeonded by Trustee Brown moved that offer of G.J.Ligouri to dispose,
<br />free of charge, of garbage for, one year,be accepted and City Attorney to prepare the ne-
<br />cessary papers of agreement,same to take effect October 1st 1909. Motion carried by ilia
<br />following vote.
