<br />Regular adjourned meeting of Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Roll Call. Present Trustees, President Geo. A. Merrill, Roblt Brown, Carl Beeger,
<br />C. J. Hynding, E. H. Sampson. Town Clerk, G. C. Plump.
<br />Minutes of meeting held July 17, 1911 read. Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee
<br />Beeger, moved same be approved. Motion carried,
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Beeger, moved that the Clerk notify Class A
<br />liquor dealers not to sell or give liquor to M. V. Oliver. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Beeger, moved that the matter of the further hear-
<br />ing on the street Railroad Franchise,be postponed to Monday, August 7, 1911, at 8 p.m.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />The following resolution accepting Map of Central Park,Redwood Oity,San Mateo County,
<br />cal. was passed and'adopted:
<br />Whereas, the Morey Realty Company and 0. A. Hooper and Company have this day presented
<br />to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, a certain map entitled "Map of Cen-
<br />tral Park, Redwood City, San Mateo County, 0al." and said map being in all respects pre-
<br />pared as required by law, now
<br />Therefore be it Resolved, that the following named streets and avenues,upon said map
<br />delineated and set forth, to -wit: Grand Street, Hudson street, Iris street, Katherine
<br />street, James Avenue and Lexington Avenue, be and the same are hereby accepted on behalf
<br />of the public by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, as dedicated to public
<br />use; and the Clerk of the Board is directed to endorse upon said map, said acceptance;
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be adopted and said map accepted upon
<br />and subject to the express condition that the Town of Redwood City does not hereby become
<br />responsible or liable for any cost,charge or expense either for gradings,macadamizing; or for
<br />any other road purpose, as to said streets and avenues, this condition as to the incurring
<br />6f cost, charge or expense, being left to the discretion of future Boards of Trustees; no
<br />one of said Boards of Trustees nor any member thereof, or said Town of Redwood City, shall
<br />ever be liable to damage in any sum or amount arising by or through any defect of any kind
<br />in said streets and avenues,
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that the President of the Board be
<br />authorized to sign,in behalf of the Town of Redwood City, Installment Agreements for 'the
<br />Town's Property,portion of Street Assessments in District 16. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that a warrant be drawn,in favor of
<br />,the Tax Collector to the amount of $72.95,for first installment on Town's property, District
<br />16. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of James P,Coleman in the matter of posting "Notice of Time fixed for cash
<br />Payments of Street Assessments, and Notice of Sale of Real Property the assessments against
<br />which have not been paid or bonded againstil.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved same be accepted, received and filed.
<br />Motion carried.
