298 Trustee.Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown,. presented the following resolution and moved its adoption: whereas, in the matter of the Proposed improvements in Assessment District No. 16 the Tax Collector of the Town of Redwood City having reported to the Board of Trustees of said �. Town and municipality the amount of cash collected and the amount of installment agreements taken; and r d report that said. Tax Collector has collected the Whereas, it appears in and by sai sum of X05181.10 assessments paid in full; the sum of $38-10 fractional cents lost by di- \�;; vision of installments; the sum of $4843.25 first installment of installment agreements; X14 , installment agreements in the aggregate sum of $48,432.509of which amount the first in - ;i staliment in the said sum of $4843.25 has been paid in cash, leaving due and unpaid on spid installment agreements the sum of $43,599.25; and the sum of $1218.50 assessment on County I of San Mateo property which has not been paid; and the sum of $934.80 assessments iiot,paid j- and property sold to Town of Redwood City; and t f Whereas, it now appearing to this Board that it is*necessary to raise the sum of $43,589.25 in order that the total estimated cost of said proposed improvements and the =1'=incidental expenses in connection therewith, to -wit, the sum of $559805.00,be actually in the hands of the Treasurer of said Town; Now Therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the 'Town of Redwood City,in pursuance of section 18 of "The Local Improvement Act of 1901" that bonds be issued against the local improvement fund of Assessment District No. 16 in the aggregate sum of $43.589.25; that the number and denomination of said bonds be as follows; 43 bonds of the denomination of $1000., and 1 bond of the denomination of $589425; hat each of said bonds be dated August lat,1911; that the term of each of said ponds be 10 years from said date; that the rate of interest of each of said bonds be 7 per cent per annum from said date; and Be it further resolved and ordered that said bonds be issued in the form and by the officers, and payable in the manner, provided by section 18 of said "The Local Improvement Act of 1901"; and Be it further resolved and ordered,that said bonds be sold at not less than par to the highest bidder for cash in United States gold coin; and Be it further resolved and ordered that the following "Notice of Sale of Bonds" be given,and that the same be published twice in the "Times-Gazette",a weeKly newspaper, print- ed,published and circulated in said Town of Redwood City, to -wit: "Notice of sale of Bonds". Pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,in the County of San Mateo,State of California,passed and adopted on the 24th d`V of JulY, 19111 notice is hereby given that the said Board of Trustees will sell.at the office of said Board,in the Town of Redwood City,at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. on the 7th day of August, 1911,to the highest bidder,at not less than their par value,for gold coin of.the United States of America943 bonds of said. Town of Redwood City on the denomination of $1000.9each, grid 1 bond of said Town of the denomination of $589.25; Each of said bonds bears interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum, is dated August ist,i911, and runs for'a term of 10 years from said date.
