Redwood City,Cal., October 2, 1911..,, <br />7:3o P.m. <br />Regular meeting of Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Roll Oall. Present" Trustees, President Geo. A. Merrill, Carl Beeger, Robot Brown, <br />0• J•H,ynding, E. H. Sampson; Town Clerk,. G, 0, Plump. <br />Minutes of meeting 'held September 1$01911 read. Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee <br />Brown, moved same be approved. Motion carried. <br />Communication from California League of Munidlpalities and State Board6f Health relative <br />to -the appointment of a delegate to represent the Town of Redwood City at annual conven- <br />tion of League to be held at Santa Barbara. <br />Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that Dr. Ross,Presldent of the Board <br />of Health,be appointed to represent the Town of Redwood Oity. Motion carried. <br />Trustee HYndin g, seconded by Trustee Brown, presented the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />1hereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City have been unable to sell the <br />Local Improvement fonds in Assessment District No. 15,issued under and by virtue of the <br />"Local Improvement Act of 1901"; <br />And wherbas it appears to said Board of Trustees that said bonds cannot be sold until <br />the said "Local Improvement Act of 1901" has been amended by the Legislature so as to make <br />the bonds issued thereunder marketable; <br />' And whereas it appears that it Would, be for the best interests of the people in said <br />District No, 15 to return the money collected for the street improvements in said dis- <br />trict; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Boardbf Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that <br />the money collected for street improvements in Assessment District No. 15 be and the same <br />Is hereby ordered returned to the respective parties who paid the same; <br />And'be it further resolved that the Clerk of the. Town of Redwood City be and he is he <br />by directed to draw warrants upon Assessment District No. 15 Fund for the respective amou <br />SO collected and, hereby ordered returned as aforesaid. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood Oity,at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 2 day of October, 1911910Y the following vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of said resolution, Trustees, <br />Beeger, Brown, Hynding, Sampson, Merrill. <br />Noes and against the passage of said resolution, Trustees, <br />None. <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br />.Geo.
