;320 <br />. Trustee JW-nding, seconded° by .Trustee Brown, presented the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Whereas the Board of Trustees of the, Town of Redwood. City have been unable to sell the <br />Local Improvement Bonds in Assessment. District No. 1 ,issued uxt-der and b,Y vlrt.ue of the <br />I'Local Improvement Act of 1901°; and <br />'Whereas it appears to said Board of Trustees that said bonds cannot be sold until the <br />said "Local Improvement Act of 1901" has been amended by the Legislature so as to make the <br />bonds issued thereunder marketable; and <br />--Whereas it appears that it would be for the best interests of the people in said dis- <br />tract No. 16 to return to them the money collected for the street improvements in said dis- <br />trict; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that <br />the money collected for street improvements in Assessment District No. 16 be,and the same <br />Is hereby ordered returned to the respective parties who paid the same; and <br />Be it further resolved that the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City,be,and he is hereby <br />ordered, to draw warrants upon the fund of assessment district No. 16,in favor of the res_ <br />pective parties and for the respective amounts so collected as aforesaid. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of .the Town of Redwood City,at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 2 day of October,1911, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of said resolution, Trustees, <br />J <br />Beeger, Brown, Hynding, Sampsor, Herrill. <br />Noes and'against the passage of said resolution, Trustees, <br />- None. . <br />Absent, Trustees, None. <br />Geo. Motion carried. <br />Communication from property owners living near oak Avenue, requesting Board to have CreeX <br />improved from Redwood Avenue to County Road, The matter was referred to Superintendent of <br />Streets Dickey to confer with Mr Fee,the principal Owner of land affected by the changes <br />Proposed. <br />
