<br />The matter of the ownership of pole at old water works was laid over for further con-

<br />claim No. 138 of Robert A. McLean, amounting to 42016.75,for 2nd payment on Town Hall
<br />tract was approved by, the Finance Committee.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown.,moved said claim be allowed and warrant
<br />drawn on City Hall Fund in payment of same. Motion carried by the following vote:

<br />Claim No. 139 of A. Hess,amounting to 02250.00tfor 2nd pdyment on County Road contract
<br />was approved by the Finance Committee.

<br />drawn on Storm Sewer Fund in payment of same- Motion- carried by the following vote:

<br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Sampson, moved that the changes to be made in vault of
<br />the New Town Hall be referred to Trustee Hynding with power to act. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hyn ding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that the Contractor, of New Town Hail
<br />be authorized to lay additional 1 x 6 diagonal under floor, to cost $32.00. Motion carried.
<br />Mr Kincaid addressed the Board relative to streat improvement in District No. 17,stat
<br />that a large number of the property owners in this district were moving in the directifn
<br />Of providing for the doing of the -work under private contract and hoped to be ready to pre-
<br />sent for approval at the next meeting plans for the work.
<br />Trustee Hynding, setionded by Trustee Brown, moved thattthe present p,roa"eedings in
<br />District No, 17 be dismissed. Motion carried.
<br />Superintendent of Streets, Dickey, reported that Roosevelt Avenue can be cleaned, of weeds
<br />at a cost of about $5o of t;6o. Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brawn, moved that
<br />the superintendent of Streets be authorized to remove weeds on Roosevelt Avenue, .Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that the Superintendent of Streets
<br />be authorized to purchase 2 carloads of rock for Arguello Street. 1�otion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee�Brown, moved that Contractor A. HeeStbe author-
<br />ized to substitute rock macadam instead of asphaltum for top covering of bridge on County
<br />Road near James Street , the' Contractor to credit' the Town with $40.00. Motion carried.
