<br />Tile regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was.held.
<br />At .011 call, there were present, Trustees , Pres.. aeo.A.Merrill,Car1 Beeger,
<br />O.Hynding, E.H.Sampson,.Town.Clerkt Carl Plump. Absent, Trustee Robert Brown.
<br />The minutes of the meeting held Norr.6th.1 191I,were read. A motion,by
<br />Trustee Hynding seconded by Trustee Beeger that the same be approved , was carried
<br />The monthly reports of Town Clerk, Marshall, Treasurer, Supt.of.Streets
<br />and Meoll Engineer, were presented and upon motion of Trustee Hynding , seconded
<br />by Trustee Sampson, the same were received and filed.
<br />A motion was introduced RR4-e- by Trustee Hynding ,seconded,by Trustee
<br />Beeger and carried, that the Clerk notify property owners to call for refunding,
<br />warrants on Street Improvemeht District # 13 & M
<br />On motion of Trustee HYnding seconded by Trustee Beeger, and carried,
<br />Supt.of Streets Dickey was ordered to rlotifY property owners on Phelps St. between
<br />Oedar and Manz:anita Sts., to construct. cement sid.ewalks.on both sidesof said
<br />Phelps St. , and on Jackson St. ,Prom Pennsylvania Ave. to Franklyn St., both sides
<br />of the street .
<br />The Clerk was also oMdered to notify the owners of the.Base Ball
<br />grounds to construct cement sidewalks on Broadway and the County Road, on motion
<br />of Trus too Hynding seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried.
<br />A petition was presented from property owners in the vicinity of
<br />Lincoln and Vera Avenues requesting Street lights.The matter was laid over to be 7170 C&Itl
<br />up later when car -load of poles arrive.
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding seconded by Trustee Beeger, and carried, the Clerk, wa
<br />notified to invite bids for one car -load of 35 ft..' cedar poles'.
<br />Upon hearing the request of Mrs.John Kearse for a street li ,,the
<br />Olerk eras authorized to notify of intention to light the entire length of the R.R
<br />right of way in the near future.
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding seconded by Trustee Sampson, and
<br />carried , the Clerk was authorized ttv purchase 500 Red. Cross stamps
<br />A- eommunication.was read from the San Francisco Board. of Supervisors
<br />requesting the Board to appoint three members to confer ,in the matter of the
<br />State Highway ftommission. On motion of Trustee Sampson seconded by Trustee
<br />Beeger and carried,. Trustees Geo.Merrill, O.J.Hynding, and Cgrl Beeger were w
<br />appointed to represent the Board
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding secolmded by Trustee Sampson, the Clerk
<br />was ordered to notifY all holders of Class A liquor licenses , not to sell or
<br />give.

<br />A communication from J.E.Ensor, accompanied by a map , relative to
<br />a, strip of land on old school, iWOURds- lane near Washington St., was r on motion
<br />of Trustee Hynding s` econded by Trustee Beeger, and carried , referred to a 09MI
<br />committee composed of Trustees Brown, Beeger, and Sampson.
<br />IZ.R..Stafford and H.C.Tuchsen, representing the Board of Trade,
<br />requested street lights be changed -to Tungsten lights from Five Points to County
<br />Road on Mound, Main and Broadway Sts. The matter was referred to Electii
<br />h'agineer Werder to convert the system to incandescent.,
