<br />The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held..
<br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pres. Geo.A..Merrill, Carl Beeger,
<br />BobeEt Brown, C.G.Hynding, E.H.Sampson, Town Clerk, G.C.plump,
<br />The minutes of the previous meeting held on Dec. 4th., 11th,, and 18th
<br />were read , and approved on motion of Trustee Eynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson,
<br />and carried..
<br />George W.Lovie presented a petition from property owners in Dist,
<br />17, requesting the Board to start proceedings of street work.. No action was taken
<br />other than that the matter would be taken up at a conference during the week.
<br />The report of Osborne and Kidd, Expert Accountants, employed by the
<br />Board, to look over City Officials books, was, on motion of Trustee Hynding , seconded
<br />by Trustee Beeger, and carried, received, filed and referred to the Finance Committee .
<br />A motion introduced by Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson,
<br />that the Meenanical Engineer have all water meter readings made, and readings to be
<br />in C1erk's.Office, not later than the 28th. of each month, was carried. .
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding , seconded by Trustee Sampson, and carried
<br />President Merrill was authorized to act in the matter of systematic tree planting,
<br />6n the streets of Town, to interest temporary Park Commissioners ho offer suggestions:
<br />as to best method, proper kind of trees etc.
<br />The matter of repairing street crossings was referred to street Supt.
<br />Dickie, upon motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Beeger, and carried..
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee -Brown and carried,
<br />Contractor R..A.McLean, of the New Town Hall, was given an extension of time until
<br />Jan, 31st., te- •1912 .to complete the Building.
<br />Trustee Ilynding introduced a motion w2jajch was seconded by Trustee
<br />Brown and carried, that the hearing in the matter of Street Railway Franchise, be
<br />Put over until Monday, Jan. 15th, 191? ., at 7130 P.M.
<br />A motiom by Trustee Hynding and seconded by Trustee Brown, that the
<br />salary of the Health Officer of the Town of Redwood City, be Twenty-five dollars
<br />25.00) per month, was carried by the following vote.
<br />Ayes, Trustees Beeger, Brown, Hynding , Sampson and Merrill. Noes, none. Absent, nortie.

<br />.= The Supt. of -Streets was authorized to place signs near Railroad
<br />j Crossings, warning train •crews not to block the same -
<br />On motion of Trusted Brown seconded by Trustee Sampson and carried,
<br />the meeting adjourned.
