0c <br />of rp <br />Redwood CitY, Cal. Monday, Jan. 15th., 1912) 730 P.M. <br />The reg'ula;r meeting of the Board of Trustees was held. <br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees Pres. Geo..A.Merrill, <br />C.J.H.vnding, and E.H.Sampson, CIrrj G.C.Plump. Absent, Trustees Robert Brown <br />and Carl Beeger. <br />The minutes. Of the meeting held Jan 5th. , 19121were. read, and <br />on motion of Trustee H,vnding, seconded by Trustee Sampson, and carried the same were <br />approved as read. <br />A communication from property owners on Redwood Avente .was read <br />requesting street lights. A motion Was introduced by Trustee Hynding, that the reque <br />be granted , and that Mechanical Engineer Wdrder be instructed tdb install the same. <br />This was seconded by Trustee Sampson, and carried. <br />The report of the committee on furniture and furnishings for the <br />new Town Hall was presented , and on motion of Trustee Iivnding seconded by Trustee <br />Sampson and carried the same was received and filed. <br />A communication from Mr.Woodhams in regard to furnishing the <br />linoleum and window shades for the new Town Hall , was referred to the Furnishing <br />Committee, on motion,of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson and carried. <br />A petition from property owners in Dists'ists #15 and #16 <br />similar to the one presented at former meeting from District 17 , in the matter of <br />street work and bond issue, was upon motion of Trust e Hynding, seconded by Trustee <br />Sampson, and carried, received and filed. <br />The matter of preparing forms for copying licenses issued., was <br />referredt to the, Clark. <br />On motion of Trustee Hynding seconded by 'trustee Sampson and <br />carried, the Treasurer and City Clerk T -w ere authorized to transfer to .the General <br />Fund, carious balances in unused funds, as Zecommended by Expert w.J.Kidd. <br />The monthly reports of the Town Clerk, Marshall, Treasurer, <br />Supt. of Streets, and Mechanical Engineer were submitted , and upon motion of Trustee <br />Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson, and carried, the same were.received and filed. <br />Upon motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Hynding and <br />carried , the matter of hearing of Street Railway Franchise, was put over until <br />Monday, Feb. 5th., 19129 730 P. -M. <br />The following claims against the Town of Redwood City, were <br />approved by the Finance Committee.
