<br />nHEREAS,
<br />C.A.Hooper & Company, and The MoxeY Realty Company, have this day,
<br />presented to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State
<br />of California, a certain Map, entitled, Map No.2 of Central Park, and said Map being Prelared
<br />In all tespects as required by law.
<br />ivOW THEREFORE,
<br />be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City
<br />that the following named public streets, highways and avenues on said map, delineated
<br />and set forth, to -will:
<br />Grand Street, Hudson street, Iris Street, Jeter Street, King Streel,
<br />Myrtle Street, Lowell Street, Nevada Street, Opal Street, Pearl street, Quartz Street, Ruby
<br />Street, Sapphire Street, Topaz Street, Katherine Street and James Avenue, Lexington Avenue,
<br />Madison Avenue and Jefferson Avenue be, and the same are hereby accepted on behalf of the
<br />Public by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, as dedicated to public use, and
<br />the Clerk of said Board 1s directed to indorse upon said map, said acceptance.
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
<br />that this resolution be adopted and said map be
<br />accepted upon and subject to the expressed condition that the Town of Redwood City does not
<br />hereby become responsible or liable for any cost, charges or expense , either for
<br />grading , macadamizing or for. any other road purpose as to said streets , highways and a-enues
<br />this condition as to the incurring of costs, charges of 'expenses being left to, the discretion
<br />of future Boards of Trustees, no one of said Boards of Trustees or any member thereof, o:, said
<br />Town of Redwood City shall ever be liable for damages in any sum or amount arising by or 411
<br />and
<br />through any defeat of any kind as to said streets, highways Qv avenues .
<br />she foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote.
<br />Ayes, Trustees, Deleau, Hahir, Hynding and Sampson.
<br />Noes, Trustees, None.
<br />Absent, Trustee Merrill,
<br />On motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Deleau and carried,
<br />Mr.J.N.Winter was refunded the amount of $125.00, being the amount paid by him for
<br />the billiard table to be used by the Fire Department.
<br />,On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried,
<br />Trustee Deleau was authorized to purchase the necessary door signs for the New Town Hall.

<br />the meeting adjourned.
