<br />The following Resolution was introduced by Trustee Rahir, Who moved

<br />County, State of California", Piled in the office of the County Recorder of the County
<br />Of San Mteo I NOV. 2nd. 1876, and the original of Which Map is on file in said office in
<br />Boa C of Maps, at page 68, and a copy thereof is recorded in Book 3 of Maps at page 24, 1Ihat
<br />certain street a, to -WI t Elm Street and Beech Street appear thereon to extend across Staubsugh
<br />street and through..the,.!Intervenih&o,lands lying between the -northerly line of Stambaugh
<br />Street and the said Sweeny Addition; and
<br />11HEREAS ,
<br />the said Elm Street and the said Beech Street approach and enter Stambaugh street
<br />aio:lg and upon the southerly line of said Stambaugh Streets, and have not e'aer'at any time
<br />crossed said Stambaugh Street, or penetrated the northerly boundary line cof said
<br />Stambaugh Street; and
<br />WHEREAS I -
<br />by reason of the appearance of the location of said Beech street and said Elm
<br />Street, with reference to said Stambaugh Street, it might appear yhat the Town of RedWoOd
<br />City has claimed, or does now claim that said Elm Street and said Feedh street crosses
<br />the northerly line of said Stambaugh Street, and extend to said Sweeney's Addition; and
<br />'WHEREAS,
<br />In and by that certain Map of said Town of Redwood City, prepared under the di
<br />directionof the 'Board of Trustees of said Town, dated September 15th. ,1909, said Beech street
<br />is delineated thereon as extending between the said Sweeney Addition and the said stambaueb
<br />Street,without interruption, and thereby apparently forming and constituting a public str et
<br />Of said Town of Redwood City; and

<br />said Town of Redwood City has never claimed, and does not now clAim title
<br />to any portion or partof the properties lying between the northerly Ane of said
<br />Stambaugh Street and said Sweeney Addition With raspect to the existence of 0treets9
<br />roads or highways for or on behalf of .said Town, in so far as the exteniion of said Elm
<br />Street and of said Beech Street are concerned, and that the delineation or representation
<br />on any Maps of said Town, or any addition of said Town, purporting to represent or allow
<br />that Elm street and Beech Street exist as between the said nort1jer3$•,"fi0 boundary line
<br />Stambaugh Street, and said Sweemey Addition, are inaccurate and incorrect,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
<br />by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />County of sari Mateo, State of Oalifornia,that the said Town of RedWood City hereby releashs
<br />or ever had, With
<br />quit-cl&ins and relinquishes any and all rights or title which it now has, Street, and
<br />respect to the real property lying between said northerly line of Stambaugh
<br />the lands Of said Sweeney Addition Which would constitute a part Or P02tlon of Elm
<br />Street and of Beech street if the line of said respective streeta were prolongedand extended
<br />�serosa said Stambaugh street, and over and
<br />n'om the southerly line of said Stambaugh Street ,
<br />through the said northerly line of said Stambaugh Street«
